From my earliest of memories, I have always been fascinated by how money works. To me, capital flows are similar to highway infrastructure, where money can deliver you to a particular end goal. With proper planning, you can traverse any obstacles that stand in the way of a prospective marriage, childbirth, first-time home purchase, or retirement lifestyle. Stocks, bonds, 401(k) plans, and insurance will help us to map out our route.
Financial Freedom
I speak in terms of life goals, because we are not in the business of making money strictly to hoard greenbacks and mindlessly watch numbers grow upon a screen. We are in the business of making money to arrive at financial freedom, which actually has no price tag. I would define financial freedom as boss status, where one leads the life that he wants to live, rather than being forced to toil out of necessity.
My Vision
Despite its size, I view Onyx Investments as a diversified financial services company that combines the financial stability of a goliath megabank alongside the nimble personal touch of a boutique firm. To meet these ends, it is critical that Onyx operates as a port of call in the storm of market turbulence. Through a conservative approach to doing business, Onyx Investments will survive and thrive, no matter the weather.
